We are seeking a Packaging Program Lead who is innovative, inspiring, and a strong leader to join our Devices, Packaging, and Wearable Technologies team at UCB, based on our campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role
The Packaging Program Lead is accountable for guiding packaging programs that support UCB’s key business priority programs across the global portfolio. This role involves setting the strategy and governing the programs within a cross-functional technical program team context. Key assignments include steering the overall secondary packaging and artwork strategy, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, and problem-solving. The role operates in matrix program teams alongside key stakeholders to ensure quality standards of packaging and artwork deliverables are met.
Who You Will Work With
You'll collaborate with experts in Secondary Packaging and Artwork, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners from packaging development phase to artwork approval.
What You Will Do
Influence and manage the interface with internal stakeholders and external partners. Lead packaging programs and guide cross-functional teams. Strategic project management, including setting strategy, anticipation of opportunities, and problem-solving. Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and adherence to the UCB packaging strategy. Support building the UCB Packaging Strategy and it’s execution. Act as a single point of contact for communication-related matters within the functional department. Key contributor to the effectiveness of the overall end-to-end labeling, packaging, and artwork process Interested? For This Role, We're Looking for the Following Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in packaging within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices, regulations, manufacturing, production (packaging), and project management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English language), planning and organizational skills, and the ability to support, inspire and influence multi-functional teams. Ability to lead and influence multi-functional teams, hold teams accountable, results orientated, effective at networking, able to manage complex projects from development through commercialization and to achieve the desired objectives or outcomes.
