You will be part of an international and multicultural team that is responsible for developing robotics software for our AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles).
More specifically, you will be responsible, together with the product teams, for the development, maintenance and improvement of our processes and infrastructure for developing, testing and delivering the multiple products making up our on-board robotics software suite. You will work closely with the various development teams to support the continuous integration and delivery of quality solutions.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the continuous development of the safety & gateway software on our AGVs
You evaluate and integrate new sensors and hardware in close collaboration with our mechatronics teams
You develop software as described by the User Stories and perform Unit Tests.
You document your software so that other team members and departments understand your software
You are involved from start to finish of the product life cycle
You adhere to the scaled agile way of working, including participation in dailies and retrospectives
You take – together with the other team members - ownership of the team results and pro-actively support other team members in delivering the committed backlog
You follow the evolutions in software development and apply then in a pragmatic way
You adhere to the proposed development guidelines and tools
You participate in Development Chapter and contribute to best practices on software development
Qualifications:
You have a first experience in software engineering practices (e.g. clean code, test driven development, CI/CD)
You have affinity with mechatronics
Your experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus
You have knowledge on following languages:C/C++ and/or PLC (according to IEC 61131-3)
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
You have strong communication and personal planning skills with the ability to prioritize workloads
You can work autonomously and with cross-functional teams
You are pro-active, take initiative within the team
You are eager to learn and challenge the status-quo
Your experience in the intralogistics industry, warehouse automation or material handling is a plus
You have professional proficiency in English
