What would you do as a Office Sharepoint consultant?
If you want a close collaboration with the customers and your strive for strong connections and relations with those customers, then you are in the right place. And there is more:
Your motto? Think before you begin. Or in other words, you analyse the business needs of the customer before you start the project. This way you prevent getting unpleasant surprises. You translate the specific needs of the project to a functional blueprint that can be used by your technical colleagues to build a technical architecture or solution. You understand the importance of clear instructions, since you will have a close collaboration with multiple teams. One solutions does not fit all. Together with your project team you will propose a tailor-made solution, in which you will combine workloads like Groups, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Planner, ... You have a job with a lot of variation since he projects of clients can be different from each other. They will be about topics like collaboration, the digital workplace, BOT's, artificial intelligence, LOB-integrations and business intelligence, to just name few. You will help to configure these solutions and develop multiple test scenarios. Is the solution ready to be used by the client? Only after doing a severe test- and acceptation period , if it comes down to you, ... Your work does not stop once the project is in the go live phase. You will make sure that your customers can get the best out of their new solution by delivering the correct documentation and share best practices using trainings. Thanks to your analytical mindset you detect issues and solve them quickly and easily. Like a true chess player you think about strategy and you are multiple steps ahead of reality. Your sales colleagues can trust your commercial skills during the pre-sales process. You help them in setting up proposals and guide them in making a budget indication.
